Linden tea
INGREDIENTS (for children):
1 teaspoon of crushed linden inflorescences,
1 teaspoon (or more) of honey - preferably linden (it can also be coniferous honeydew, forest or raspberry),
1 cup of boiling water.
A METHOD OF PREPARING:
1. Pour boiling water over the herbs.
2. Cover with a saucer and let it brew for about 15-20 minutes.
3. Strain and cool.
4. When the infusion is not hot (below 40 degrees C), add honey and
mix well.
DOSAGE:
Healing
Children from 2.5 years of age, 1/2 cup of infusion 3 times a day.
Children 6-7 years old, just like younger children, with the difference that the last one we give the dose before going to bed.
Children over 7 years old can be given a stronger infusion of 1 tablespoon of linden inflorescence per 1 cup of boiling water).
Adults 2 to 6 g of inflorescence infused daily.
Preventive
Children : 1/2 cup before going to bed.
Adults: 1 glass before going to bed.
It should be remembered that only a well-warm infusion (about 40 degrees C), never cold, will have a diaphoretic effect and antipyretic.
