The uniqueness of jojoba oil is due to the fact that it is structurally and chemically very similar to the human sebum  largely consists of wax esters. This makes it an indispensable ingredient in many cosmetic and medicinal products.

 

 

Jojoba oil - who is it for?

Jojoba can be successfully used by people with skin:

  • oily,

  • acne (inhibits the excessive production of sebum and the multiplication of bacteria), 

  • dry (jojoba replaces natural sebum)

  • and sensitive (soothes irritations).

  • Also recommended for owners of mature skin,

  • as well as keratinized.

  • It helps to protect against external factors (frost, wind, sun).

  • It is recommended for use in the prevention of stretch marks (it makes the skin more elastic and stronger), it is a component of preparations for stretch marks, also for pregnant women .


Types of jojoba oil available for sale:

  • refined jojoba oil - odorless, light golden color. It works perfectly as a massage oil and cosmetic fixative.

  • cold pressed jojoba oil -  it has an amber color and a slightly nutty scent. It is liquid at room temperature, hardens and becomes dull after cooling down. It works very well as a natural cosmetic (for the care of the skin of the face, hands, feet, body instead of a lotion).

 

Properties of the oil  jojoba:

  • Contains  phytosterols,

  • A lot  vitamin A.  (supports the natural functioning of the skin),

  • vitamin E.  (accelerates skin regeneration and slows down its aging), 

  • vitamin F.  (has an immunostimulating effect on the skin).

  • The structure of liquid jojoba wax esters is similar to the sebum secreted by the sebaceous glands. This oil is easily absorbed by the skin, strengthens the intercellular cement layer, which prevents the skin from drying out. It is used for all skin types - even acne-prone skin.

  • has regenerative properties,

  • moisturizes,

  • is anti-inflammatory, 

  • penetrates all layers of the skin, 

  • it is a very safe and mild oil. It can be used without fear by people with extremely sensitive and prone to irritation skin,

  • does not clog pores,

  • has hypoallergenic and antibacterial properties,

  • inhibits the growth of Candida albicans fungi,

  • prevents stretch marks during pregnancy and with intense growth,

  • slows down hair loss and reduces greasy hair.  It improves the condition of the scalp.   

  • stimulates hair growth, a  contained in jojoba  iodine,  nourishes and protects the skin against bacteria.

 

When used systematically, it causes:

  • dry areas will become soft and elastic,

  • the skin will have a beautiful, healthy color.

 

Jojoba oil is used for:

  • wart removal,

  • acne treatment,

  • treatment of eczema,

  • treating psoriasis

  • treatment of dry dandruff, 

  • protect the skin from the sun (SPF 3 - 5). Jojoba should be applied 10 minutes before going out into the sun (people with fair complexion should also use creams with a higher factor).

  • for make-up removal,

  • in case of sunburn,

  • frostbite,

  • massage and bath, 

  • as a remedy for relieving skin irritation after shaving.

 

  • It polishes and regenerates hair ends, nourishes nails.

  • Gently cares for the skin of children.

 

  • It is an excellent hair conditioner, it dissolves sebum at the base of the hair and strengthens the bulbs.

  • When added to a cosmetic, it thickens it and extends the durability of other, less stable vegetable oils.

 

Due to its specificity, jojoba oil is an excellent carrier for fat-soluble ingredients. It is commonly used, for example, as a carrier of perfumes, bioactive substances, to dilute essential oils.
