Fragrance Sticks : Take a small bottle or glass with a tall neck. The narrower the mouth, the slower the solution evaporates, the wider the faster. Prepare the solution, you can do it in two ways, using oil or water with vodka.
For the bottle / glass pour in carrier oil e.g. almond oil / safflower oil and add a few drops of your favorite essential oil (be careful that the undiluted oil does not touched the skin) - in proportions it is about 70% base oil with 30% essential oil, but you can experiment with amounts to adjust the intensity of the fragrance to your needs. Then put wooden cane or bamboo sticks into the bottle / glass (you can also use long skewer sticks or art sticks - only cut off the pointed ends). When they are soaked, remove them and place the opposite ends. Rotate once a week. Make sure yours there is an air freshener out of the reach of small children and pets.
You can also make the base for scented sticks using vodka and water . Up to 1/4 cup of water give about 12 drops of essential oil ethereal, then add a little more vodka (vodka helps bind oils with water). Some people say that this mixture evaporates faster than the oil-based mix, but it won't mess up as much as the oil version if it spills out. Decide for yourself which one you prefer.
