Person Cleaning Stain On Carpet With Spr

Stains are the bane of our tidy and clean homes. And if you have children or pets at home, you know that stains appear in some magical expressive way. How can I get rid of them? It all depends on the substance that created the stain. Below is a cheat sheet of the most common stains.

             INK

Clean the stain with denatured alcohol. Some ink stains can be removed with a special carpet shampoo. Unfortunately, most of them are resistant and difficult to remove.

MUD

Wait for the mud to dry. Then vacuum. If there is a trace, wash this place.

CURRY

Spray the stain with soda. Dry with a folded towel. Prepare a mixture of water (2 cups) and vinegar (1 cup).  And rub the stain with a damp sponge or towel. If the stain persists, professional carpet cleaning remains.

             CHOCOLATE

Wait for the chocolate to harden and scrape it off with the blunt side of a knife. Clean the dirty area with carpet shampoo. When it is dry, vacuum.

             RED WINE

Dry the wine spill area with a towel. Then pour soda over the stain and immediately collect the liquid. Repeat until the stain disappears.

CHEWING GUM

Put ice cubes in a plastic bag on guard in the carpet. Wait for the gum to harden and take it off. You may need to repeat this step several times. You can remove the rest with a clean cloth slightly moistened with denatured alcohol.

             COFFEE

Sprinkle the stain with soda. Then dry it well. Repeat this step until the stain is completely gone.

             CRAYONS

Cover the stain with paper and slide over the paper with an iron. This way you remove the fat that is in the crayons.

BLOOD

Wipe the stain with cold water or soda and dry with a towel. Repeat if necessary. Clean the dirty area with carpet shampoo.

MILK

Dry thoroughly and then wash the stained area with carpet shampoo.

             FRUIT

Sprinkle the stain with soda and dry it with a towel as soon as possible. Repeat until the stain is gone.

PLASTICINE

Scrape off the plasticine as carefully as possible, and wipe the remains with a cloth moistened with pure alcohol.

TAR

Scrape off the tar as carefully as possible. Apply the glycerin solution to the stain and leave it on for about an hour. Rinse with cool water. Wash the stained area with carpet shampoo.

FATS (oil, butter, margarine)

Sprinkle the stain with talcum powder. Leave for a few hours and vacuum. If there are traces of dirt, moisten a clean cloth with a few drops of eucalyptus oil and rub the stain.

             PEN INK INK

Gently rub the stain with denatured alcohol or milk and spirit vinegar, mixed in equal proportions. Clean the dirty area with carpet shampoo.

             CANDLE WAX

If the wax is soft, take it as far as possible with a spoon and then cool the rest by placing a bag of ice cubes on the stain.  Collect hardened wax from the carpet fibers. if there are any leftovers, place folded tissue paper on the stain and work with a warm iron until the filter paper has absorbed all the fat.

Warning:

Before you rub the stain with alcohol or denatured alcohol, test how the fibers and paint behave on the carpet,  in an inconspicuous place .
