Tanning oils
with natural filters
June 3, 2016
The value of the SPF index ranges from 2 to 50, although cosmetic companies are reporting higher SPF values more and more. SPF is defined as the ratio of the amount of UV radiation causing burns when sunbathing with a filter to the amount of radiation causing the same burn without the use of a filter. In other words, SPF 20 means that a person using a cosmetic with such a sun protection factor will burn 20 times longer than without the use of a filter (assuming a constant radiation intensity during exposure).
In terms of the quality of protection, a distinction is made between:
low protection level - SPF 2-6
medium degree of protection - SPF 8-12
high protection degree - SPF 15-25
very high degree of protection - SPF 30-50
ultra-high protection level - SPF> 50
Cosmetics / oils with SPF do not guarantee impunity, but only reduce the risk of sunburn.

Before you apply any of the oils on yourself do a test of how he reacts first leather. Also remember to lubricate frequently ( several times per hour ) and the fact that that oils with natural SPF and ready-made cosmetics with filters do not eliminate the risk of sunburn, but only reduce it.
