Christmas home decorations when you don't have space for a Christmas tree

If you don't have space for a Christmas tree, or for some reason you don't want to or can't  set it up at home and you want your home  was decorated on  holidays, use the suggestions below.   

1 . Hang ornaments everywhere

 

A room filled with Christmas decorations has tremendous power. This is why:  

  1. Choose a color palette and arrange beautiful decorations throughout the room  chosen  colors. 

  2. Hang it  them at different heights:  in doors, windows, lamps, shelves ...   Whole  turn your home into a magical world of Christmas decorations. Attach to walls or  the ceiling with a Christmas ribbon and thumbtacks.  

2. Decorate the windows

Decorating windows is great  an alternative to a Christmas tree at home. You can decorate the windows:

  • lights,

  • wreaths, 

  • on colored ribbons or transparent fishing lines  hang baubles. 

  • put garlands of artificial Christmas trees on the windowsill. 

A decorated window will make the room look good  festively and the interior will not be "cluttered".

3. Festive table setting

Your table has great potential to be decorated. In the middle, set:

  • a bowl with sparkling decorations or fresh seasonal fruits such as pomegranates, oranges and mandarins, apples. Additionally, he can transfer the fruit with fresh conifer sprigs, add cinnamon sticks;  

  • you can also make something like a headdress in a tall glass and necessarily transparent vase with branches, decorations, battery lamps, or make Christmas lanterns

  • make a wreath or headdress, with a candle that you place centrally on  table,

4. Candles and essential oils will add aromatic magic.

When you can't fill your home with the scent of a real Christmas tree, consider recreating the scent with:

  • candles  with notes of pine, cedar or fir. These fragrances evoke a festive mood thanks to their woody aroma.

  • Set  In  different  places  home  bottles  or  decorative  jars  with  potpourri  composed  with the most fragrances  they associate  You with Christmas. 

  • Make a Christmas spray  for rooms you can spray to  the magical scent of that time of the year wafted around.

  • You can also make lanterns from skins  oranges.  

5. Decorative pillows and blankets

This is another element that gives a festive character and changes the interior at a low cost. Buy, or  if you can  sew it yourself, pillow covers that will match the interior of your home and have the chosen one  by you the color tone in which you decorate the house. Arrange pillows on armchairs, couch,  add to the bed thick  Christmas blanket and the interior will turn into a cozy Christmas magic world.

6. Decoration of chairs

  • You surely know the covers for the backrests of chairs in the form of caps  st. Nicholas.  Maybe  buy them in many stores and it is often not a big expense.  They change the look of the chair, giving it a festive character, like no big deal - you pull a fabric cap over the backrest - and the change of interior is big.   

  • You can also buy a wide ribbon (or sew  a few with each other) and tie them on the back of the chair as a gift.

7.  Get creative with  with twigs or artificial garlands. 

Green garland indoors  can do a lot.  It's a great way to add a festive mood to your home. Fasten them on the projections  shelves,  framework  window or sills, doors and handrails  stairs. To liven up the green garlands, add  pine cones, nuts, dried cinnamon sticks, cardamom stars,  dried orange slices or bows or other Christmas decorations.  

8. Decorate the entire house

Don't limit  strength only for the room or bedroom. Decorate:

  • bathroom - you can buy a toilet lid  Christmas-themed cover - so  if  you have children, it will delight them. They are often in sets  rugs.

  • Mirrors at home  Garnish with garlands or dried orange slices and cinnamon sticks - to  sticking you can use hot glue gun, take it off  later shouldn't be a problem. 

  • In the kitchen, you can put Christmas mugs for your morning coffee and  a plate on  fruit or cookies.
