Hygiene  cancer  important  is  every  on the day  and  especially  In  period

flu  and  colds.  We wash  hands  always  when  we come back  down  home,  we teach  kids want   before they sat down to eat they visited  bathroom and made sure their hands were clean to wash their hands after  use  from the toilet ...  In the autumn and  in the spring flu season, we avoid coughing and sneezing people,  we remember that there are many infections  carries  down the droplet route.  Majority  of us wear washing gels or wipes every day in case  it's necessary to  was  clean hands without  water and soap.   And yet when  suddenly  a new virus is detected we bump

panic, we buy hand disinfectant gels, or worse, we can no longer buy any preparation, because  all  were sold out.

Today in many  stores and pharmacies are running out of stock  hand disinfectants.  First off, don't worry, you can do one like this without any problem  alone at home. Secondly  hand disinfection (using gels and  disinfectant wipes) is not basic  an infection prevention strategy. According to the Prevention and Control Center  Disease Control and Prevention -  CDC) washing your hands frequently and thoroughly with soap (for at least 20 seconds) is the best way to reduce germs and  disease transmission.

When  soap  and  water  not  are  available,  means  disinfecting  down  cancer  they can  to be  used alternatively.

Alcohol in disinfectants is good  products  ability to destroy microbes, and the CDC recommends that disinfectants contain 60% to 95% alcohol to eliminate germs. According to the CDC, disinfectants work best  for clean hands  and may be less effective when your hands are greasy or visibly dirty.

Remember that any gels and other means  for hand disinfection  are effective, provided they have the correct ratio of alcohol to other ingredients. Research shows that the alcohol concentration in these substances should not be less than 60%.

On websites  you can  find quite a lot  recipes for disinfectants  hand gels, remember that  the recipe must have the right proportion of alcohol to others  ingredients so that potency  the final preparation does not  was less than 60% alcohol.

Adding an emollient such as aloe vera gel or glycerin will prevent the disinfectant from drying out the skin, and the essential oils will give the mixture a pleasant fragrance according to a recipe published by CBS News .

If your solution is two-thirds 95% spirit and a third emollient, the mixture will have an alcohol content of 63.3% (95  times 2/3). For a higher alcohol content, you can create a solution that is three-quarters of 95% spirit and a quarter of an emollient, making a mixture with an alcohol content of 71.2% (95  times 3/4).

Soap

Overall, more effective at preventing disease  is  washing hands rather than sanitizing them. This is because the soap removes some of the microbes with which it is used  alcohol-based products such as Norovirus, Clostridium difficile cannot cope -  perpetrators  threatening  life of diarrhea, or Cryptosporidium, the causing parasite  the disease  diarrhea called cryptosporidiosis. The soap also removes traces of pesticides and heavy metals -  hand sanitizers may leave them behind.

Whether you use hand sanitizer or soap and water, remember the following:

  • The disinfectant should be applied to all surfaces of the hands and rubbed in for about 20 seconds until dry.

  • Washing your hands should follow five steps:

    • wet hands;

    • soap until foam is formed (covering the backs of the hands, under the nails and between the fingers);

    • scrubbing all surfaces for 20 seconds;

    • rinsing with clean water;

    • drying with a clean towel.

Hands should be disinfected throughout the day, especially after coughing, sneezing or blowing your nose; before eating  and after using the toilet -  recommends  strength too  washing the year before  using the toilet.
