Quick household soap

INGREDIENTS:

  • 500 g ready soap base or  ready  transparent soap base . If you have soap remains, you can also melt them and use them  him a second life.

  • 20-30 drops of your favorite essential oil;

  • molds (preferably silicone ones because they are easy to remove the soap)  or one form of fruitcake  (a block will be created that will need to be cut into "slices" like a cake).

optional:

  • Dried flowers and leaves;  cereals;  dyes;  coffee beans or ground coffee.

  • You can also embed various things in them, eg small rubber or plastic toys for children;

A METHOD OF PREPARING:

  1. Stop the soap base. Place the base in a glass bowl (e.g. in a frequently used measuring jug)  in the kitchen)  and put in a pot filled with water. The water must not be more than 1/3 max 1/2 of the bowl (otherwise there is a risk that water will get into the soap mass). Heat the water - don't boil it - so that  the heat melted the soap base.

  2. Add dyes, essential oil (and other optional additives).

  3. Pour into molds. Pour slowly to avoid air bubbles in the solidified soap.  At this stage, you can immerse various things in the molds, e.g. ceramic shapes of clovers, hearts, etc.

  4. It is best to leave the soap in the mold for 24 hours to let it set well, then take it out of the molds and you can use them right away.
